Ed Luttrell Elected as National Grange Master!

Ed Luttrell, Past Oregon State Master and present National Grange Leadership/Membership Director, was elected to the office of National Grange Master Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the National Grange Convention. Jimmy Gentry, Master of the North Carolina State Grange was elected as National Overseer. Elected to fill open seats on the Executive Committee were Phil Prelli, Past Master of Connecticut State Grange and their present Secretary of Agriculture and Franklin "Pete" Pompper, Master of New Jersey State Grange. These four newly elected National officers will join Marty Billquist of Montana and Betsy Huber of Pennsylvania on the National Grange Executive Committee.

In addition to electing a full slate of officers, National Grange delegates will take action on the more than 200 resolutions presented this year from the various state sessions.
The 141st National Grange Convention runs November 13-17 and is being held at John Ascuaga's Nugget Hotel and Casino in Reno/Sparks, Nevada.
