Expose Yourself

When you feel uncomfortable as a leader because everyone is looking at you, don’t worry. Let your fellow members see you as you are. Don’t hide parts of yourself from them. It takes courage to open up and let your fellow members see the real you.
Let your character show through. Your body language and your actions all are part of building trust with your team. If your team thinks you are hiding things from them, or that you don’t trust them, they will not respond in the necessary positive fashion.
If you think you have a character flaw, start today in correcting it. We build our own character and can change ourselves. Until we face ourselves in the mirror of our Grange friends we can not become the leaders we should or need to be.
