Recognize Small Successes
|
How do you deal with members who are discouraged, tired,
or simply not enthused? One way is to make sure that your Grange
recognizes small successes. We often forget that big successes are the
result of little steps that lead to achievement.
Recognize the little things that your members may take for granted. Have
little celebrations for small victories that your Grange achieves. As an
example, if you have trouble getting a quorum several times a year, give
each member a cupcake with a candle at your sixth meeting in a row.
Find the little things that show your Grange is moving in the right
direction and recognize those little steps. It will make things more fun
and will improve your member’s attitude over time. Get your Lecturer and
other officers involved in finding little successes and the big successes
will follow.
Recognize small successes in your Grange and watch the incredible happen!
