Always Look Forward

Ever meet a Granger who can tell you all the things that their Grange has done, but never mentions what they are doing or planning? It is essential that leaders spend their time looking forward. Focus on what you are doing now and what you are going to be doing in the future.
Use the past as a benchmark of where you’ve been and as a base to expand what your Grange will strive to do. It is wonderful to sit back and savor a success, but only for a short time. Then it is time to get back to today and the opportunity to make things better.
When you are constantly talking about the actions that your Grange is doing and planning, your teams will start to have the same focus. When they are talking to others about the future, the public perception of your Grange will change. When the public believes that your Grange is acting to ensure a bright future, membership will not be a problem.
Become a forward-looking Grange leader and watch your Grange grow!
