The most important investment you can make in your teams is in training. Teach team leaders and members how a team operates. Each member is needed to make suggestions and to give input on how the team will accomplish its goals. Everyone will contribute to achieving the goal.
Another critical investment is in the time spent getting to know your members. When you get to know someone, you learn what needs they are looking to meet and what skills they have.
