Ever feel that you’re rushing from crisis to crisis, or
deadline to deadline, as a Grange leader. You seem to have little time for
new things because the established routine makes you busy. This is when it
becomes critical to take time to plan for the future.
Give yourself time to think about what could be done.
What new program or activity might attract new members or increased
participation? Who needs some attention in order to develop as a new
Grange leader? What will generate new or increased enthusiasm among your
members?
As a leader, you must make time to think and plan. The
time to do this exists, but is currently being used by urgent things that
are not important or even things that are not urgent or important.
Reallocate your time so that you do have time to think about the future
and to make plans that will ensure success for your Grange.
Build a stronger Grange by taking time to think and plan.
