In my travels to local Granges around this great Commonwealth, I have
taken notice of something that I think might just help all Granges recruit
more members...
Almost without exception, every Grange hall has some kind of a sign outside,
on or near the hall. These signs usually include the Grange name and number,
and sometimes the date the Grange was chartered, but...
Rarely is there a phone number for people to call to get information about
the Grange or to find out how to join (My own Grange was no
exception...WAS).
Put a phone number on your Grange hall or sign. It doesn't matter whose
number it is...the Master, Secretary or Membership Director...just so there
is a number for people to call so they can learn about the Grange and how to
join.
It can make a difference!
