Monday, January 10, 2005 will be the date for this year’s annual PA State Grange “Farm Show Meeting.” The meeting will begin at 1:00 PM in Room B on the second floor of the Main Hall of the Farm Show Complex. The meeting is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
This year’s schedule of speakers is as follows:
1:00 PM: Bill Achor from Wenger Feeds will speak on “How are the new Nutrient Management Regs and the CAFO Regs going to effect you?”
1:30 PM: George Wolff of Wolff Strategies, will speak on “Transportation Issues.”
2:00 PM: Dept. of Agriculture Secretary Dennis Wolff will close the meeting speaking about “The PDA Legislative Agenda.”

The Grange is a family fraternal organization dedicated to the betterment of rural America through community service, education, legislation and fellowship. The Grange includes members of all ages from their Junior Grangers (ages 5-14), Youth Members (ages 14-35) and Regular Subordinate (Local) members (age 35 and up). The Grange represents approximately 16,000 Pennsylvanians across the state. It is the oldest agricultural organization of its kind in the United States. The National Grange (Patrons of Husbandry) began in 1867 and the PA State Grange was chartered in 1873.
