The Order of Patrons of Husbandry, "The Grange", will have an informational booth at this year's Ephrata Fair in the Grater Park (Tent City) area on Oak Blvd.

The PA State Grange is hoping to gauge interest in the greater Ephrata area for opening a new Community Grange in Ephrata.  A previous Grange was located in Ephrata but closed in 1965.

The PA State Grange booth will have various informational brochures available covering everything from Membership, Junior Grange, Youth Grange, Grange Member Benefits, Grange Scholarship Opportunities, Grange Family Memberships and Grange Legislative initiatives in Pennsylvania.  The booth will be manned daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Grange members who look forward to talking to people from the area about the Grange and the benefits the Grange can offer to residents and the community.

Please take a moment to stop by the Grange booth at the Ephrata Fair and say hello.  If you mention that you saw this article, you will receive a free gift from the Grange.  We hope to see you there!

The Grange is a family fraternal organization dedicated to the betterment of the American quality of life through community service, education, legislation and fellowship.  The Grange includes members of all ages from their Junior Grangers (ages 5-14), Youth Members (ages 14-23), Young Adults (ages 21-35) and Regular Community (local) members (age 14 and up).  The Grange represents approximately 15,000 Pennsylvanians across the Commonwealth.  It is the oldest agricultural and rural advocacy organization of its kind in the United States.  The National Grange (Patrons of Husbandry), representing about 150,000 members, began in 1867 and the PA State Grange was chartered in 1873.
