Williamsport - Jennifer Nauss of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, won "Best of Show" this past weekend at the 135th PA State Grange Annual Session Talent Contest.

Jennifer played "New England Memories" by Gail Kowalchyk, on the piano.  Prior to playing, she dedicated her recital to her cousin Justin Boose from Perry County, who is in a coma as a result of an accident and is in Bryn Mawr Rehab Center.

Jennifer competed against 9 other contestants who were finalists at the state level as a result of winning their regional talent competitions around the Commonwealth.  This was Jen's second "Best of Show" title, having won for a piano recital in 2004.  Miss Nauss will now go on to the National Grange Convention in Reno, Nevada to play in its "Evening of Excellence" on November 15, 2007.

Jennifer is the daughter of Anna May and Brad Nauss of Mechanicsburg and she has a younger brother, Andrew.  Jen is the granddaughter of Fay Snyder of Camp Hill, whose late husband Luther, was the PA State Grange Master from 1974 to 1979.  She is a 2007 graduate of Mechanicsburg Area High
