Pennsylvania State Grange Heritage Quilt Trail at the PA Farm Show
The Pennsylvania State Grange Heritage Quilt Trail has expanded it locations and has a permanent display at the PA Farm Show Complex. There are 108 wooden quilt blocks that were created by Pennsylvania Grangers to showcase the heritage of quilting through design and patterns.
The Pennsylvania State Grange Heritage Quilt Trail's mission is to celebrate and promote the culture, heritage and viability of the Pennsylvania State Grange by placing quilt blocks on Grange Halls and other suitable buildings throughout the Commonwealth. The Grange Heritage Quilt Trail committee is working on expansion across Pennsylvania by working with organizations, business, and others in being part of the trail.
The trail has over 200 quilt blocks on display across Pennsylvania. Grange members Glenn and Barbara Gross from Scrubgrass Grange in Venango county created the trail and have been the coordinators since its inception in 2009.
The display is located in the corridor beside the Main Exhibit Hall at the PA Farm Show.

About the Pennsylvania State Grange Heritage Trail
Quilting is a strong part of our heritage in Pennsylvania. The Grange realized this and wanted to do something to highlight this part of our heritage, and help Granges and Organizations become more visible in their communities. The trail started in 2009, to date we have over 300 blocks on display on Grange halls, fairgrounds and community buildings across PA.
