Scholarship Applications for 2026 are available now.
The PA State Grange Foundation Scholarship
Established in 1996 by delegate action, this scholarship is available to any person entering their junior or Senior year in college.
Candidates should be in need of financial assistance and may be studying any subject at any institute of higher learning.
Each applicant is eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship each year, for a maximum of two years. Up to four scholarships may be awarded in any given year, depending on the amount available in the fund.
Deadline May 1st.
Deaf Interpreter Scholarship
The PA State Grange has had a long relationship with the deaf community. This scholarship is just one way that we continue to support programs that assist the deaf and hard of hearing.
Applicants must be a Grange member in good standing and be enrolled in a credible program leading to certification as an interpreter for the deaf.
Each year, a $250 grant will be awarded to the best applicant.
Deadline May 1st.
The Grange Scholarship Endowment at Penn State University
This scholarship is to recognize the outstanding work of an undergraduate student enrolled in at least their sophomore year at any campus of Pennsylvania State University who also demonstrates financial need.
The recipient of this scholarship will be selected by the Penn State Office of Student Aid Scholarship Committee from nominees named by the PA State Grange Scholarship Committee. This is the sole method for identifying students who are Grange members.
The $1,500 scholarship will be awarded for one academic year and may be renewed for subsequent years, provided the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and no other eligible students are identified.

Rhone Grant - Penn State University
Leonard Rhone was the third Master/President of the PA State Grange. This grant is given in his name to honour the great things he did for the Grange.
This grant is only available to those pursuing a degree in agriculture or human development & family services at Penn State University. One scholarship of $300 will be available each year.
Eligible candidates must be members in good standing and secure a recommendation from the President of their Subordinate and Pomona Granges.
Deadline - May 1st.
Santee Student Loans
Ellis M. Santee was an active Grange member and country doctor who knew the importance of a good education. He established this loan fund to help members obtain that education.
Grange members or their children may apply for one of five $2,000 loans, provided they are full-time students at an institution accredited by MSCHE.
If selected, students will be required to sign a promissory note prior to receiving the loan. Repayment of this interest-free loan shall begin within six months of graduating or leaving school. The minimum repayment requirement is $30/month per $1,000 borrowed, payable over a three-year period.
